General Statement of Duties: Assists with specimen processing and non-licensed tasks in Histology, Cytology, and/or Molecular sections of the Pathology Laboratory. Assists with pre-analytical accessioning and labeling of specimens for the Pathology laboratory sections.Physical Demands: Requires a full range of motion including manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Frequent standing, walking and sitting for long periods of time is required. Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 30 lbs. Requires visual acuity and normal color perception.Working Conditions: Exposure to communicable diseases and toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a medical group and laboratory environment
