Ophthalmologist - Medical RetinaSummit Health is seeking a Medical Retina Specialist who would like the opportunity to expand a thriving practice within a financially secure, physician-driven, multispecialty setting. Enjoy practicing in "the Jackson Hole of Oregon!"
The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained and Board certified/eligible, proficient in intravitreal injection and retinal laser, and experienced in diagnosing and treating the broad scope of vitreous and retinal pathology. You will join a clinic composed of a fellowship-trained oculoplastic surgeon, cataract/anterior segment surgeon, and two optometrists. Our current retina specialist is relocating out of state. The incoming ophthalmologist will see 25-35+ patients a day principally within medical retina, and there is no primary surgical call if your practice is non-surgical, focused on Medical Retina.

Ophthalmology provides services in Bend and usually one day a week each in Redmond.

Opportunities are available to maintain surgical skills in general ophthalmology. Surgical procedures are performed in an efficient, surgery center across the street. The main regional hospital is also within walking distance from the main eye clinic. If interested in continuing a comprehensive practice, to include cataract surgery, surgical Call responsibilities are shared among a very collegial group of 8-10 other ophthalmologists in the community.
