DescriptionThe Semel Institute is seeking to hire a limited part time Lab Assistant to support SRAs or GSRs in performance of experiments, all with supervision, including:Staining of tissue sectionsAssisting with animal surgeriesAssisting with tissue culture experiments by feeding and passaging cellsGeneral lab tasks including preparation of tissue reagents.Keep proper laboratory protocols and updated lab-notebooks.Please note that this limited position may convert to career.
