Beacon Children’s Hospital Pediatric Hematology Oncology is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Hematologist to join a busy, community based pediatric hematology oncology practice in South Bend, Indiana.  The physician will join a team of 2 board certified pediatric hematologist-oncologists and a nurse practitioner.  The care team is supported by a highly experienced, committed nursing and administrative team.  The program cares for infants, children, adolescents and young adults with blood disorders and cancers.  The oncology component includes approximately 30-40 patients in active treatment at any given time and a large off therapy population.  The practice sees approximately 200 new hematology referrals per year and cares for approximately 80 children with sickle cell disease
