Performs microscopic evaluations and non-gynecologic cytology specimens.  Uses independent judgement and cognitive skills to develop interpretations to be used by the physician in determining the presence of disease and/or infectious process. Assists and prepares cytology slides from fine needle aspiration (FNA) procedures using proper techniques. Follows policy for reporting and entering results in the department computer system using standard terminology.  Follows policy for referring case for Quality Control screening and pathology review. Provides general direction and technical assistance to lab aides, pathologists, colleagues, client services and clients. Full Time Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm Health & Dental Paid Time Off 6 Pai
