Required:

• Good work ethics, strong communication skills, honest, and ability to work well with minimum supervision or as a part of a group.
• Experience using basic laboratory equipment (centrifuges, spectrophotometer, PCR machines, pH meter, balances, gel documentation) and familiar with both PC and Apple computer systems and software programs (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Understanding of University procedures and policies for working with biohazard, radioactive and hazardous chemicals, and their disposal. 
• General knowledge of chemistry and meticulous preparation of reagents.
• Experience handling animals.
• Needs to be knowledgeable about cell culture, cell transfections, antibody preparation
• Must be proficient in performing high-quality western blots and SDS-polyacrylamide gels
