This opportunity is full-time during third shift.
Location: Knoxville, TN
Nights: Monday - Thursday/Tuesday - Friday rotation
Hours: Third Shift but specific hours are negotiable

In this role, you will:
- Perform a vital part of the patient care process through moderate and high complexity testing
- Analyze, review, and report testing results
- Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
- Work in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards
- Champion safety, compliance, and quality control
All you need is:
High school diploma or equivalent and the completion of an AMA-approved Medical Laboratory training program to qualify as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Or
Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent preferred and completion of an AMA-approved program of Medical Technology to qualify as a Medical Technologist (MT)
Current TN licensure as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT). Certification or eligible by ASCP or equivalent
- 6 months of laboratory training or experience
- Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent
- Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including but not limited to: telephones, computers, automated analyzers, centrifuges, microscopes, manual and automated pipettes, and audible alarms.
