Located in Woodbury, NY, Laboratory of Dermatopathology provides the highest quality, customized dermatopathology services to our referring providers. Our daily mission is to provide you and your patients accurate and timely diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic information. Laboratory of Dermatopathology has provided expert diagnoses, innovative technologies and personalized service since 1972.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver accurate diagnoses of specimens, from both glass slide and digital formats.
• Provide microscopic dictations, and, at times, gross evaluations when appropriate.
• Be available for physicians and staff to discuss specimen handling, diagnosis, and management, as needed.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management, co-workers, and clients to provide quality medical care and customer service.
• Participate as faculty in our educational programs with residents and fellows.
• Participate in Tumor Board, Grand Rounds, and professional society meetings when called upon.
• Help with research projects.
• Participate in other division or company-wide activities (sales/service calls, trade shows, and social media) to promote our services, as needed.

Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D./D.O.) with completion of residency training (either dermatology or pathology)
• Board Certified in Anatomic Pathology and/or Dermatology.
• A minimum of 1-4 years' experience including fellowship training.
• Dermatopathology fellowship training required with Board Certification/Eligibility
• Excellent communication skills are a priority.

Salary starting at $325,000 - $375,000 Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply.
