Texas Oncology is looking for a Echocardigraphy Tech to join our team ! This position will support the Medical Oncology Department at 2410 Round Rock Avenue #150 locatio n in Round Rock, Texas with weekly travel as follows: Tuesday- Central Austin, Wednesday - Central Austin, Thursday-South Austin, and Friday - alternate San Marcos and North Austin. Typical work week is Monday through Friday, 8a - 5p.
This position can be either a level 1, 2 or Sr based on candidate work experience.

What does the Cardigraphy Tech do? (including but not limited to):
Under minimal supervision and following established procedures, methods and protocols, the Echocardiography Technologist performs cardiac ultrasound examinations on patients. Collaborates with physician in chare and Supervisor on technical issues, equipment performance and QA. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Technical:
Accurately obtains 2D, Doppler, spectral and measurements under the direction of the physician in charge.
Uses cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological and diagnostic images.
Maintains the equipment to the highest standard of cleanliness and coordinates with manufacturer regarding any service issues.
Administrative:
Completes necessary documentation, charge capture, logs and records.
Attends regularly scheduled QA meetings for the echocardiography laboratory.
May have input in personnel matters for other technologists.
May have supervisory responsibilities.
Other duties as requested or assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Echocardigraphy Tech position will have the following background and experience:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of a cardiac ultrasound program.
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)/Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification OR Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)/Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required.
Five plus years of work experience in echocardiography required.
