Overview Atlantic Health System is seeking a full-time Perfusionist for the Cardiac services department at Morristown Medical Center. The shift for the role is mon - fri dayshift. Overnight and weekend call as needed. Responsibilities Job Functions:01. Responsible for operating the Heart/Lung machine while safely maintaining patient cardiac output, tissue oxygenation, and hemodynamics during cardiopulmonary bypass.02. Administers medications and blood components through the extracorporeal circuit.03. Responsible for drawing blood samples from the extracorporeal circuit and making adjustments to maintain normal blood gas parameters.04. Maintains adequate anticoagulation during cardiopulmonary bypass.05. Initiates ECMO and monitors patients whil
