The position calls for a detail-oriented individual to join the Business Operations Team in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. This position is pivotal to assisting in the management of all business aspects of clinical and non-clinical operations of the department, including but not limited to monthly profit and loss financial reviews, requests for equipment/supplies/labor, data analysis, contracting for supplies and services, vendor management, process improvement, billing/invoicing, and new business development activities. Assists in budget preparations (capital, operational, productivity) for all assigned cost centers. Assists in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures. Supervises employees, provides mentoring, and creates opportunities for training.
Bachelors in Business Administration, bachelor`s degree in Medical Technology with sufficient business/data analysis experience, or any other combination of a bachelors degree and experience in business/data analysis to meet experience requirements (Required)
Masters in Healthcare Administration, Masters in Public Health, and/or Masters in Business Administration (Preferred)
Greater than 1 year of P&L financial management and able to describe variances and trends (revenue, expenses, and operating margin) (Required)
Greater than 1 year of data analysis experience (Required)
Greater than 1 year of experience leading staff; leading multidisciplinary clinical/non-clinical staff highly desired (Preferred)
Creating data visualizations/dashboarding experience (Preferred)
Contracting/Supply Chain/Strategic Sourcing experience with emphasis on contract redlining and execution (Preferred)
