Position Information:
The Educator/Quality Specialist for Pathology Ambulatory serves as the liaison and primary contact for WakeMed Physician Practices. Duties include providing training, education and communication all pathology lab test related information to WakeMed Physician Practices, recording requests, resolving electronic reporting problems specific to the customer, ensuring competency for all practice phlebotomists and providing excellent customer service to physician practices. Assists with the writing of tools, tip sheets and educational materials. Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
2 Years Clinical - Clinical Laboratory Required

Education Required:
Associate's Degree Required - Or Equivalent Education Requirement And Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Phlebotomy Or American Society for Clinical Pathology Required

Hours of Work:
M-F 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
