FULL-TIME BENIGN HEMATOLOGIST

The Helen F Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute (HFGCCRI) is seeking to employ a full-time BC/BE fellowship trained Hematologist focusing on benign disease.

The successful candidate will have training and/or experience in benign hematologic disorders. Join a busy, hospital-employed team specialization in patient diagnosed with sickle cell, hemophilia, thrombophilia, myelodysplastic syndrome, polycythemia and other blood disorders.

The program is well-rooted in the community with a strong referral base and anticipates for continued growth in both clinical services and research working in the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center & Research Institute at Christiana Care Health System.

The HFGCCRI, a National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Research Program, is part of ChristianaCare, one of the country's largest health care systems, with 52,339 admissions, 37,634 surgeries, and 195,998 emergency department visits. Its Cawley Center for Translational Cancer Research, Tissue Procurement Center, Gene Editing Institute and Statewide High-Risk Family Cancer Registry with eight full time genetic counselors, and collaborations with world- renowned scientists at The Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, are all opening new avenues to more quickly translate cancer science into cancer medicine! The 240,000 sq. foot outpatient cancer center has 12 multidisciplinary disease site centers allowing patients to see three disciplines of surgical, medical and radiation oncology, including subspecialists and support service teams in one visit.
