Overview
As an AP/CP eligible or board-certified dermatopathologist at Northwest Permanente, you would join our highly collaborative team of clinicians and physicians. As our primary dermatopathologist you will be adding to a group of 18 Pathologists with 6 PAs and 4 PhDs. You will be supporting a large dermatology department, and have close collaboration with 19 dermatologists, 3 Mohs surgeons, and general surgeons focusing in melanoma treatment. Our surgical pathology volume is approximately 64,000 cases annually of which approximately 12,000 are dermatopathology cases.
Service responsibilities:
- Cover dermatopathology sign out.
- Provide intradepartmental consults.
- Participates in cutaneous tumor boards.
- Cover calls.
Qualifications and Expectations:
- AP/CP board-certification desired and dermatopathology fellowship trained.
- Collegial and willing to be a team player.
- Experience in general surgical pathology frozen section coverage, as well as CLIA directorship for various service areas are strongly desired but not required.
