The Ghalei lab has an immediate opening on a collaborative project investigating the role of rRNA modifications in cancer biology. The lab is located in the Department of Biochemistry at Emory University School of Medicine and has wide access to the resources and collaborative community at Emory University and the Winship Cancer Institute. The applicant has ideally just completed their Ph.D. or is currently a Ph.D. student in their final year in a related area to our research (e.g. RNA biology, biochemistry, cancer biology, cell biology, genetics). Expertise in RNA biology/biochemistry and RNA-sequencing approaches is preferred.
