Medical Technologist (Laboratory Education Coordinator)
Provides authoritative representation and interaction with cooperating or affiliated universities and phlebotomy programs, resource organizations, and state and federal officials in order to coordinate program goals, objectives and policies. Works independently under the direction of the Laboratory Manager and the Chief of P&LMS. The duties and responsibilities of the Medical Technologist include but are not limited to following: - Administers and expands clinical training programs for staff and students in the areas of Microbiology, Chemistry, Phlebotomy, Point of Care, and Hematology. Teaches a broad range of laboratory procedures as a Generalist.
