The Department of Pathology, Anatomy and Cell Biology of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University is recruiting for a full-time faculty member at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Clinical Scholar track or Clinical Educator track, commensurate with training, experience, and academic record.
This position will involve sign-out duties in Cytopathology, performing and evaluating Fine Needle Aspirations, resident training activities, and participation in one or more clinical conferences. The Department has an ACGME accredited residency program and subspecialty fellowships.
The Department places an emphasis on scholarship. The successful candidate will be expected to be a member of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University teaching faculty and time will be allocated to pursue the intradepartmental and interdepartmental opportunities for independent and/or translational research. Development of specialized expertise is strongly encouraged and sufficient time will be allocated to pursue academic interests and translational research.

Board Certification in Cytopathology is a must. Subspecialty training in other areas of Anatomic Pathology is desirable. Medical licensure in Pennsylvania is required.
