Cytotechnologist
The cytotechnologist independently reviews clinical data of patients and evaluates all cytology preparations. The selected candidate will review clinical data of patients and evaluate all cytology specimens to render a cytologic diagnosis prior pathologist final review. The cytotechnologist prioritizes, prepares, and processes all specimens for cytodiagnosis and immunohistochemical testing in compliance with the guidelines of regulatory agencies. The cytotechnologist acts as a professional resource, troubleshooting a variety of specialized lab tests, identifying suboptimal issues, and uses independent judgment and resources to resolve concerns.
