Our Sports Medicine Practice is looking for an Athletic Trainer to serve as member of the sports medicine dyad working closely with the Sports Medicine physicians to help coordinate musculoskeletal patient care and management. To help facilitate exercise prescriptions and coordinate the work of our performance motion detection system.

Works collaboratively with existing Sports medicine physicians to help coordinate musculoskeletal patient care and management.
Assists with in-office procedures.
Assists with rooming patients and obtaining patient histories and physical exams
Demonstrate and facilitate therapeutic exercises in office given for home exercise programs
Assist in the creation of exercise prescriptions to contribute to creating a heathy population
Coordinate and complete motion analysis
Completes all documentation within ATC scope of practice.
Assist with Virtual Sports Medicine care
Assist team with exercise programs
Performs post-visit phone follow-ups to answer additional questions of the patient or family member to ensure understanding of instructions and drive compliance with designed treatment regimens.
Assists with insurance verification and prior authorization needs for services and diagnostic tests
Participates in Sports Medicine section meetings, in-services, seminars, mandatory hospital programs, and workshops.
Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices and infection control policies.
Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate with a degree in Athletic Training from an accredited Athletic Training program, and completion of Certification exam through the National Athletic Training Association.
Licensure in the State of Delaware as a Certified Athletic Trainer. CPR/AED certification.
