University at Buffalo Pathologists Inc (UBP) has an immediate opening for an AP/CP board certified/eligible pathologist (non-tenured). Clinical service activities will be based at the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC) and/or at the Kaleida Health (KH) Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine which are practice sites for UBP. The ideal candidates should be comfortable in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cases in cytopathology and surgical pathology. ECMC is a regional center for head and neck surgery. Expertise or a desire to develop as an expert in head and neck pathology is very desirable. This position includes a University appointment at the University at Buffalo in the Department of Pathology and Anatomical Sciences (PAS) which is a leader in the emerging field of computational pathology. PAS has a strong program in developing computational approaches to oral cavity cancer modeling. The ideal applicant should be committed to excellent patient care as well as scholarship and effective teaching. Salary range is negotiable based on training/experience.
