• Performs diagnostic studies upon order.
• Check orders for accuracy utilizing Radiology Information System.
• Independently operates all types of radiologic equipment (carm, R&F rooms, Digital rooms, Portables, Cysto room)
• Utilizes proper positioning techniques.
• Utilizes lead shields per policy, for self and patients.
• Meets departmental goal of 5% for repeat rate per month.
• Utilizes 2 identifiers prior to using ionizing radiation on any patient.
• Provides safe environment for patient safety.  Reports any concerns to management.
• Utilizes lead markers on all images captured.
• Accurately charges patients and completed paperwork within a timely manner.
• Follows proper procedure for sending and verifying images in PACS.
• Offers assistance to all other staff and imaging modalities when time allows.

• High school diploma, technical / college training
• Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist
• ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technology
• BLS
