Assists in diagnosis and monitoring of patients by performing various diagnostic imaging procedures for patients of all ages. Correlates patient data into appropriate patient histories. Performs diagnostic procedures according to department protocol.
High School Diploma or GED and completion of training program of an accredited school or program of Radiologic Technology
One year experience in clinical diagnostic ultrasound or completion of a formal training program in diagnostic ultrasound
Experience and training appropriate to performance of a variety of special technical procedures performed with the CT scanner
Experience and training appropriate to performance of a variety of technical procedures that require utilization of a radionuclide for the diagnosis and treatment of disease
A.R.R.T. Certification, Licensed by State of Louisiana as appropriate
