The Cytotechnologist is responsible to perform cytotechnology testing, assists with cytology preparation of specimens and fine needle aspirations, classify and evaluate specimens referring to pathologist, maintain equipment, supplies and instrumentation and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Bachelor's requirement can be waived if certified prior to 1985. Florida Driver’s license also required. Recent hospital experience highly preferred. Two years of experience in Cytotechnology is preferred.
