The Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Florida is seeking an academically oriented clinical pathologist with strong diagnostic skills in Immunology/ Serology and Coagulation, to join our large and markedly growing academic practice. Demonstrated expertise and board certification in the subspecialty area of clinical informatics is desirable.
Mayo Clinic Jacksonville is a unique practice environment, focused on the needs of the patient and dedicated to teamwork. Our clinical pathology laboratory offers a robust and growing test menu. The selected candidate will join a group of 20 consultants. All Surgical and Clinical pathologists have subspecialty expertise and participate in scholarly activities through research and education and offer a stimulating environment for professional growth and career development. The position includes an academic appointment with the College of Medicine, Mayo Clinic.
License or certification Qualified candidates should hold an MD or MD/PhD and be board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology or Clinical Pathology. Eligibility for Florida licensure is required.
