St. Luke’s Health System has an exciting opportunity for an Echo Technologist to join our team!
The Echo Technologist performs diagnostic testing and echocardiography, doppler, flow analysis, color flow mapping and M-mode on adult and pediatric patients suspected of having cardiac disease. The Echo Technologist performs appropriate procedures using protocols, knowledge and understanding to provide uniform and age-appropriate care for patients. The Echo Technologist obtains diagnostic information and provides necessary reports for the referring physician, medical director, HIM, and Echo Lab files.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDSC), Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), or registry eligible according to the ARDMS or CCI standards. Must pass the exam within 12 months from date of hire.
Current CPR certification
Pediatric experience strongly preferred
Become a member of a dedicated team of Echo Techs, providing services for 15 different sites within Idaho including outreach to physician clinics and community hospitals. A patient-oriented mindset, strong critical thinking skills, and flexibility within a dynamic and challenging environment are all necessary to be a successful Echo Tech at St. Luke’s.
